Deputy Mayor for Economy, Finance and Special Plans Santiago Galván has visited IERTEC, a company developing technological tools, formed through the union of COLABSOFT and 3DALIA, which have joined forces to work under their own IERTEC® brand.
During his visit, the Deputy Mayor had the opportunity to learn about the work of both companies, run by Jerez entrepreneurs Jaime Oliva and Daniel Fernández. They are pioneers in the province in the design and development of technological products and IoT devices, as well as in industrial engineering, robotics and embedded systems services.
The company's representatives explained the technological projects they are currently working on, including those involving other international R&D companies. These initiatives include a new range of electronic devices for smart cities and IoT, which are receiving their finishing touches in the laboratory, and the development of new products using 3D printing as a prototyping tool.
Santiago Galván conveyed the municipal government's support ‘for this type of innovation and development initiative in our city’, and congratulated the Jerez entrepreneurs ‘on their business project and on this brand's excellent track record in the technology sector. It is currently expanding and working on its own healthcare patent, which promises to attract considerable attention’.
It is also worth noting that both companies have made significant investments in tools (including Catia, IAR, Cadsoft Eagle and CircuitStudio) to offer industrial mechanical engineering, electronics and embedded systems services.
