If you tend to think the world of robots is limited to industry and universities, this article invites you to reconsider. This project, which is already becoming a reality, will enable anyone to create their own robot using the innovative RoboCORE.
RoboCORE provides the hardware and software needed for robotics; all you need are the mechanisms and plenty of imagination.
Even the mechanical side is simplified, as RoboCORE does not depend on exclusive components, enabling a wider range of development opportunities. The idea is to make the process as simple as possible, opening robotics to everyone.
What does RoboCORE hardware offer?
The system's hardware is designed to make it easier to take control of your robot and even capture data. With RoboCORE you can:
- Build autonomous and remotely controlled machines

- Control motors and connected modules
- Collect and use measurement data from sensors
- Communicate with the outside world through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
Even more impressively, RoboCORE lets you control your robot through the web, Android and iPhone.
And after Kickstarter?
RoboCORE is an initiative from Husarion, a technology-based start-up in Poland whose founders sought to raise $50,000 to bring RoboCORE to market, ultimately securing $58,079.
The Kickstarter campaign aims to introduce RoboCORE to the world. Upon completion, the system will be available as an open-source model. The code will be so easy to use that completing your own robot will take just a couple of hours.
RoboCORE also uses cloud technology, allowing you to control the robot from anywhere in the world. You can even see everything around it from the robot's point of view.
RoboCORE's creators are investing in technology that brings robotics to users with no experience in the field.
About Husarion
Husarion was founded in 2013 in Kraków, Poland, by Dominik Nowak and Radosław Jarema, both graduates of AGH University of Science and Technology. The company received funding from Kraków Technology Park funds to begin building DIY robotics products. For more information about Husarion, visit www.Husarion.com.
