Participating in the event organised by Enel, Endesa, Accelerace and FundingBox Accelerator to present the European Incense (Internet Cleantech Enablers Spark) project, with funding to support up to 42 European start-ups by encouraging the use of FI-WARE technology.

The Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism (MINETUR), following European Commission guidelines, is promoting the deployment of the Future Internet. To this end, it has designed a programme of events showcasing the FIWARE platform's potential for industrial processes and smart cities.

On 15, 16 and 17 October, a major multisite event organised by FIWARE will take place in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Seville and Valencia, continuing the event held in Santander last year.

The event will pay particular attention to the FIWARE Accelerator programme, through which the European Commission offers €80 million to enable SMEs and entrepreneurs to create innovative services using the platform. Start-up accelerators with a presence in Spain responsible for distributing this funding will therefore play a prominent role.

During the event, attendees will be able to receive training on the requirements for accessing current and future calls, attend conferences and demonstrations to discover FIWARE technology's potential, and explore different project funding opportunities.
