At the invitation of the Andalucía Smart City cluster, IERTEC attended ICSOC (International Conference on Service-Oriented Computing) on Monday 13 November.

Held at ETSI on the University of Málaga's Teatinos campus, ICSOC and ISYCC bring together researchers, businesses and organisations from around the world for a workshop running until Wednesday 15 November, presenting and discussing new technologies applied to the Internet of Things (IoT), smart cities and other sectors associated with information technology and computing.
Through its CEO, Jaime Oliva, IERTEC presented one of its products for this sector: S2N (Smart Sensing Node).
S2N helps detect vehicles and people and analyse their behaviour in urban traffic, on motorways and roads, and in many other settings: shopping centres, large-scale public gatherings, and so on.

This information helps local governments make decisions about urban traffic, pollution control and route optimisation, and in other cases even determine the best routes for tourists on foot.
S2N is designed and developed by IERTEC in Spain. It is currently marketed in Spain, and we hope to deploy it in other European countries during 2018.
We are part of the change.
