IERTEC launches a device with up to four simultaneous communications systems

We are pleased to introduce WA-DL2, a device featuring Bluetooth, sub-GHz radio frequency (868 MHz or 915 MHz), Wi-Fi and GSM M2M communications, with an SD card allowing it to act as a data logger.
WA-DL2 also has an energy-harvesting system that harvests solar energy to recharge its batteries.
WA-DL2 can be used for:
- Measurement and communication from sensors in cities (environmental, volume measurement, etc.)
- Device detection and monitoring
- Monitoring pedestrian movements
- Monitoring vehicle movements
- Communications bridging between Wi-Fi, RF and/or M2M
WA-DL2 also serves as an access point for all devices using IERTEC's ecosystem: ECO.
The system is available in a simple indoor version and an IP67-rated outdoor version.
WA-DL2 can be configured to bridge its different communications systems, parse information and send it in an encrypted, structured format.
