3DALIA and COLABSOFT, two technology-based companies founded in the province of Cádiz with innovation as their business philosophy, have signed a collaboration agreement to develop a smart insole that will help diagnose foot problems and provide the corresponding solutions and treatments.

Both companies are located at the Agro-industrial Science and Technology Park in Jerez de la Frontera.

COLABSOFT, whose activities include developing and programming electronic devices, has designed a smart insole providing real-time and recorded information to help diagnose problems such as paediatric flat feet, claw foot, tibial torsion and many others. While COLABSOFT develops the electronic equipment, it could not have found a better partner on this journey than 3DALIA.

3DALIA, a spin-off from the University of Cádiz, researches and develops plastic materials for 3D printing. It carries out various related activities in the sector and provides a gateway into this fascinating world by selling equipment and offering advice through its website.

Faced with the challenge of creating a flexible, comfortable insole that feels pleasant to the touch while incorporating the most sophisticated technology, COLABSOFT has led the entire electronics side, its area of expertise, with 3DALIA as its
partner, providing extensive knowledge and technical support for manufacturing it on a 3D printer using exclusive materials.

The product is in its experimental phase, and both companies are seeking potential customers for what will certainly not be their last major undertaking.
